Orajel Medicated Cod Sore Gel Features:

How to Use:
Apply a pea-sized amount to the affected area up to 4 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Do not eat for one hour following use. Do not chew gum or food while numbness persists.

Non-medicinal ingredients:
Allantoin, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Flavour, Polyethylene Glycol, Polysorbate 60, Propylene Glycol, PVP, Sodium Saccharin, Sorbic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Water.
Caution:
Allergy alert: do not use this product if you have a history of allergic reactions to benzocaine or any ingredient in the product. Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur. In such cases, discontinue use.
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
- Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a physician or healthcare provider.
Stop use and ask a physician if:
- Swelling, rash or fever develops, irritation, pain, or redness persists or worsens.
- Symptoms do not improve in 7 days.
- Following symptoms appear:
- Weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and/or blue-coloured lips or nail beds may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use.
Avoid contact with your eyes; if it happens, rinse thoroughly with water. In case of an overdose or allergic reaction, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if the Tamper-Evident Tab is open before first use. Do not use it in children under 12 years of age.
