How to Use Rosemary Oil
Essential Oil Diffuser
Add one to four drops to a diffuser filled with the recommended amount of water. Follow the diffuser manufacturer’s instructions and use it in a well-ventilated room.
Begin with one drop when diffusing in a smaller space.
Topical Blend
Rosemary essential oil must be diluted before applying it to the skin.
Add one drop to one teaspoon (5mL) of a compatible carrier oil or unscented skincare product. Mix thoroughly and perform a patch test before applying the blend to a larger area.
Do not apply undiluted rosemary oil directly to the skin or scalp.
Scalp Massage Oil
Mix one drop of rosemary essential oil with one teaspoon of jojoba, argan, coconut, or another suitable carrier oil. Massage a small amount into the scalp, leave it on briefly, and then shampoo thoroughly.
Avoid using excessive amounts, and discontinue use if irritation develops.
Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment
