How to Use Lemongrass Oil
Essential Oil Diffuser
Add one to four drops to a diffuser filled with the recommended amount of water. Follow the diffuser manufacturer’s directions and use it in a well-ventilated area.
Begin with one drop when diffusing in a small room.
Topical Blend
Lemongrass essential oil must be diluted before applying it to the skin.
Add one drop to two tablespoons or 30mL (1 fl. oz.) of a compatible carrier oil or unscented skincare product. Mix thoroughly and perform a patch test before applying the blend to a larger area.
Do not apply undiluted lemongrass oil directly to the skin.
Household Cleaning Products
Add a small amount only to compatible, unscented cleaning products and follow the product manufacturer’s directions. Do not combine lemongrass oil with bleach, ammonia, or other reactive household chemicals.
Test the mixture on a hidden area first because essential oils may affect certain plastics, painted surfaces, fabrics, or finishes.
