In 2010, The first Quest Protein Bar is created in Ron and Shannan Penna’s personal kitchen. The bars are hand-rolled and a hit among friends and family. Quest Nutrition expands to its first trade show after finding a small, but dedicated fan base. They’re one of the top-selling protein bars in specialty retailers. In 2013, Quest Nutrition launched the Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bar and fans ate it up. Literally. Quest joins forces with the Simply Good Foods Company to create a broad nutritional foods company that offers an array of brands and products that satisfy consumers’ demand for healthier nutrition and snacking options.
