Kimberly Dean is a children’s book author and illustrator best known for co-creating the beloved Pete the Cat series alongside her brother, James Dean. While James provided the iconic illustrations of the cool, laid-back cat, Kimberly brought her talent for writing, imagination, and humor, helping shape the voice and charm of Pete into a character that resonates with millions of readers.
