Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon, best known as the host of The Tonight Show, is also a bestselling children's book author. His debut, Your Baby’s First Word Will Be DADA (2015), started as a playful attempt to get his daughter to say “Dada” first—but it quickly became a #1 New York Times bestseller and launched his career as a children's author.

Following its success, Fallon created a family-themed book series illustrated by Miguel Ordóñez:

• (2017) celebrates the joy of motherhood through simple and funny dialogue.
• (2019) playfully introduces young children to body parts in a rhythmic and engaging style.
• (2022) is a heartfelt tribute to grandmothers and their special bond with grandchildren.

In 2022, Fallon also teamed up with Jennifer Lopez to co-author Con Pollo: A Bilingual Playtime Adventure, introducing basic Spanish vocabulary to young readers in a fun and accessible way.

His holiday-themed books, including 5 More Sleeps ’Til Christmas and 5 More Sleeps ’Til Halloween, have become seasonal favorites among families.

Many of Fallon’s stories are inspired by his daughters, Winnie and Frances, who often help spark ideas for his books. As his children grow older, Fallon has expressed interest in expanding into middle grade or young adult fiction, continuing to share stories rooted in humor, love, and family connection.
