Natural Factors PS Phosphatidylserine 100mg Softgels
Phosphatidylserine (PS) belongs to a class of nutrients called phospholipids, which are fats that play an integral role in cell membrane function and structure. We need our membranes to filter nutrients in and out, to communicate with other cells and to regulate cell growth. PS is crucial for the maintenance of healthy cell membranes throughout the body, but it’s most highly concentrated in the nerve cells of our brains.*
Unfortunately, as we get older, our production of PS decreases, which can lead to cognitive decline. Research into supplemental PS shows that it may support brain function, especially with respect to tasks that require memory, vocabulary, and concentration, as well as possibly improve mood and reduce stress.*
