Pure Encapsulations Coriolus Extract has been shown to enhance immune function. The main compounds believed to be responsible for this mechanism of action are the polysaccharides, particularly the beta-glucan fraction.
Coriolus versicolor, also known as turkey tail mushroom, has an established history of use in traditional Chinese medicine continuing into modern practice. Research indicates general immune enhancement and shows a broad range of effects linked with the use of Coriolus versicolor polysaccharopeptides. Observed effects of the polysaccharopeptides include immunopotentiation by inducing production of interleukin-6, interferons, immunoglobulin-G, macrophages, and T-lymphocytes.
Medicinal Ingredients
Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) Fruiting Body Extract | 500 mg
(8:1, 4 g dried equivalent; standardized to contain 30% beta-glucan)
Non-Medicinal Ingredients
Vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water).
Recommended Dose
