Born in Lyon, France in 1982 and a graduate of the renowned École Emile Cohl, Marion Billet is an internationally celebrated illustrator whose bold, cheerful style has charmed children and parents alike. She has illustrated hundreds of books—published in more than 35 countries—including the best-selling “Mes petits imagiers sonores” series, which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Her lively work features adorable animals, bustling cityscapes, and whimsical details that encourage curiosity and joy. Beyond books, her designs brighten magazines, toys, stationery, clothing, and even television through the animated series Paprika, co-created for France 2 and Netflix. Now based in Paris, Billet works entirely digitally with a Wacom tablet, blending modern techniques with timeless storytelling to make every page a world children want to explore again and again.
