IBgard Ultra-Purified Peppermint Oil 90mg Capsules
IBgard capsules are designed to manage a range of occasional symptoms, including:
- Cramping
- Bowel urgency
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
- Bloating
- Gas
IBgard is a nutraceutical product containing ultra-purified peppermint oil for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It utilizes Site Specific Targeting (SST) technology to deliver sustained-release microspheres of L-menthol directly to the small intestine, where it is needed most in IBS.
Peppermint oil has been proven effective in over 14 clinical studies and is recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) as a first-line treatment for IBS.
Each pack of IBgard contains 12 capsules, each containing 90mg of ultra-purified peppermint oil. It is labeled by Health Canada to relieve symptoms of IBS within 24 hours, including relief from abdominal pain, discomfort, bloating, distension, and urgency of bowel movement.

Other ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Gelatin, Hypromellose, Methylcellulose, Methacrylic Acid Copolymer, Less Than 1% Of Triethyl Citrate, Polysorbate 80, Titanium Dioxide (Color), Yellow 5, Green 3
Directions
Adults, take two capsules, 1-3 times daily, as needed or as directed by a healthcare provider. Take 30 to 90 minutes before a meal, with water.
If the pre-meal dose is missed, IBgard can be taken with or after a meal. Do not exceed 8 capsules a day.
Caution
Consult with your healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant, nursing, taking any medications or have any medical condition. Discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider if symptoms persist or worsen, or any adverse reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if blister is torn or ripped or if there is any other evidence of tampering.
