Relaxus Thera Compression Sleeve - Hot + Cold

Hot & Cold Gel Compression Sleeve is latex-free, microwaveable and freezer safe and can be used on the knee or elbow to help relieve aching muscles and sore joints.

Hot Therapy

  1. Remove sleeve from the supplied bag.
  2. Heat sleeve microwave for 15 seconds.
  3. Always test sleeve before using. The sleeve should be warm, never hot.
  4. The sleeve may be heated in increments of 10 seconds if not warm enough.
  5. Never heat for more than 45 seconds in total.
  6. Stop use if sleeve causes discomfort.

Cold Therapy

  1. With the sleeve in the supplied bag, place in freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  2. Stop use if sleeve causes discomfort.

Caution

  • It is important to monitor the sleeve while heating in the microwave.
  • Always test the heated or cooled sleeve before use to make sure it is not too hot or too cold.
  • After heating, let sleeve cool before storing it in the supplied bag.
  • Sleeves absorb water, so air dry completely before storing. Never place the sleeve in the dryer.
  • Check inside of the sleeve for ice crystals before applying cold therapy. Do not use it if you see ice crystals.
  • If the gel comes into contact with skin, wash with soap and water.
  • Always consult your health care provider before using hot or cold therapy, or if your pain or discomfort persists or increases, especially if your pain or discomfort is new. Do not use on the broken or infected skin. People with certain pre-existing conditions should not use hot or cold therapy.
