Back in 2007, men’s grooming brands were either too expensive or relied too heavily on chemically driven formulations. Ritch Viola knew there had to be a better way. Working from a small office in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley, Ritch set out to bring clean, affordable grooming products to a rapidly expanding men’s market. Then in 2009, Oprah Magazine featured the Every Man Jack shave kit in their immensely popular Favorite Things gift guide. By 2015, an increasing number of consumers and retailers were seeking out naturally derived alternatives in practically every market category. Today, Ritch continues to lead the company as CEO, heading up product innovation across all categories with an eye on using only clean ingredients.
