Goosefoot Acres, Inc. and the Goosefoot Acres Center for Resourceful Living were launched in 1988 to help people learn how to use the resources nature provides to make the things they need, instead of buying them. Chief among these things were the edible and useful wild plants growing underfoot. In 1990, Dr. Peter Gail found a caffeine-free beverage he liked, but knew he could make better. it was introduced at their recommendation into health food stores in the early 2000’s, and has grown exponentially from then.
