The benefits of organic foods are intuitive; we all know that the fewer chemicals we put into our bodies, the healthier we become. But with organics becoming commonplace in our shopping bags and grocery stores, it is important to understand the true meaning behind organic labels. Most grocery stores will offer organic products beside the non-organic products and that has resulted in consumers who gravitate towards a “healthier” option that is slightly more expensive. However, not all “organic” products are created (or grown) equal and there are a bevy of terms whose meanings are slightly confusing.
