Feel the Rumble? A New, Nutritious ‘Nourishing Drink’

Rumble_Yes_WellnessIf you weren’t able to catch CBC’s Dragons’ Den on Wednesday, December 4th, you probably aren’t familiar with Rumble – a new, innovative, nutritious drink that is causing quite a stir.

Rumble’s back story is very unique. The creator, Paul Underhill, suffered from CysticFibrosis, which often times lead to a big drop in his appetite. In attempt to re-nourish his body with quality nutrients, Paul created drink concoctions in his kitchen, using organic fruits and vegetables. Seeing the need for a nutritious drink in Canada, Paul partnered with a naturopathic doctor, Kim McQueen, to create what is now known as Rumble.

Rumble tastes great (think: chocolate milk), has zero artificial ingredients , and uses body-friendly fats. Coming in a cocoa and maple vanilla flavour, a few of the Rumble ingredients include:

  • Whey protein
  • Organic tapioca dextrin
  • Inulin, from chicory root
  • Organic flaxseed oil
  • Organic agave nectar
  • Organic pumpkin seed oil
  • Walnut oil
  • Green tea extract
  • Pomegranate
  • Organic cherry
  • Blackcurrant
  • Red beet juce
  • Kale
  • Organic spinach

If that doesn’t blow your mind, get this: when Rumble was taken to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the drink was not categorized as a meal replacement – instead a brand new category had to be created for Rumble, known as ‘nourishing drink.’
